Christmas Gift Guide

Have you finished your Christmas gift shopping yet? Did you start buying in September and you finished by November? Do you struggle for ideas and then make a splurge in the last few days up to Christmas? Or do you want to buy something a little different this year but don’t know where to start?

As we are all too aware, this year has been awful for all of us, and small independent businesses are among those who have been struggling ever since the first lockdown in March. Many have bounced back, being able to diversify into online sales or changing their business goals completely, but others sadly have inevitably closed amid struggling sales and shut up shop forever.

If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping and you’re looking around for last minute ideas and inspiration, why not turn to your local retailers whether on the High Street or local businesses you know who operate online. We are all struggling, yet we are determined to continue to provide products that we know our customers love, and to carry on our commitment to being independent, and to producing high quality pieces that provide choice and diversity in the marketplace.

I have been busy these last few months providing Christmas stock, and producing new Christmas items ranging from snowflake coasters to icicle Christmas tree decorations and how about this very cute Christmas snowflake candle bridge seen in the picture opposite? All items can be found in the Christmas shopping section on my website at

If you fancy a day and to purchase last minute Christmas gifts, you can also see my new range and Christmas goodies on display to buy at the Bosham Walk Art & Craft Centre in West Sussex.

I have also found the time to create some new pieces including some Pate de Verre bowls that are gilded with actual gold and silver leaf, as well as pieces from my new Harlequin range. Hop over to to take a look.

As a fused glass artist, it gives me great pleasure to be able to make new pieces, work different techniques, and create a range of stunning fused art glass. If you’re thinking of getting something different for a loved one this Christmas, why not treat them to a place on my glass fusing workshops in 2021? I make each fused art glass piece in my Hampshire studio in the South Downs National Park, and I have recently launched workshop sessions for others to learn the art and to produce some bespoke fused glass pieces themselves.

Obviously, if you think this idea is too good to pass on and you would like to see what it’s all about yourself, then let me know by using our contact form. Learning a new skill or going outside your comfort zone, may be just what you need in 2021.

With best wishes for a fantastic Christmas.
